Modern Midlife Episode #001 – Robin LaMonte: Interior Designer + Founder of the Influencers Midlife Summit
Today’s episode is with Robin LaMonte. Robin is a professional and highly successful interior designer in Atlanta, Georgia. The mother of 4 adult children and loves good food, wine, and laughter.
In her blog, Hello, I’m 50ish, Robin (now 60ish) shares her expertise as an interior designer for Baby Boomers, as well as her fashion style as a midlife woman who wants to look chic and classy even though she’s no longer “fashion model thin”. Robin believes in aging gracefully and authentically, one wrinkle at a time.
Robin returned to school at 45 to become an interior designer, and started her blog at 59 because at the time there were few online resources for midlife women. She was ahead of the curve.
Always wanting to be on the leading edge addressing what midlife women want, she created an event to bring midlife women together for community and collaboration, the Influencers of Midlife Summit.
I was impressed with Robin and her event when I attended this January and I decided to support her by becoming part of the event team for the 2020 Influencers of Midlife Summit which is being held in March 26-29, 2020 in Alpharetta, Georgia.
